New puppy owners, don't know where to start? We have the perfect puppy training program for you! A course to help you and your new pup transition confidently in the world of companionship.
The perfect puppy program starts a dog's most impressionable age. Puppy obedience training is not only good for you, your family but most important for your pup! Through our day school program we are able to immerse your dog in different training environments to achieve our high standards of long lasting obedience. Your dog will come home from day school not only tired from a fun filled day but also increasingly more obedient, socialized and confident.
Our PPP (Perfect Puppy Program) works with puppies between the ages 8-16 weeks focusing on obedience training, structured learning activities, confidence building, and providing social experiences. Puppies that start a puppy training program are likely to reach advanced levels of dog training and live happier lives with their owners. Do you want to avoid dog behavior issues in the future? Puppy training is the answer to decreasing the chance that you will have an adult dog that is not fun to be around.
We want to set you and your puppy up for success by building the foundational skills early on and build home communication as early as 8 weeks.

Puppy Fundamentals
Puppy fundamentals refer to the basic skills and behaviors that every puppy should learn in order to become a well-behaved and happy adult dog. These include obedience training, socialization, potty training, and crate training, among others. By mastering these fundamentals, puppies can develop good habits and behaviors that will last a lifetime.
Puppy Crate & Potty Training
If you want to have a happy and healthy relationship with your friend, crate and potty training are essential. Crate training helps your puppy feel safe and secure, while also preventing destructive behavior when you're not around. Potty training, on the other hand, keeps your home clean and makes your life easier. By investing time and effort into these training methods, you'll be setting your puppy up for success.
Socialization
Puppy socialization refers to the process of exposing puppies to various experiences, people, and environments in a positive and safe manner. This helps them develop into well-adjusted and confident adult dogs. Socialization should begin as early as possible and continue throughout the puppy's first year of life. It is important to consult with a veterinarian or professional dog trainer for guidance on how to properly socialize your puppy.

k9 Driven's
Board & Train Program
K9 Driven offers exclusive Board and Training programs which are tailored to you and your dogs needs. In our Board and Train programs your dog will stay with us for 2- 6 weeks depending on the program and training needed for all breeds.
Depending on your dog's evaluation we may recommend one over the other.
Each board and train program includes basic foundational behaviors such as manners around people, other dogs, house manners and exclusive boarding for dogs that have completed our board and training program. This will ease the worry when finding a place t board your dog when you go on vacation. During a typical day at K9 Driven, your dog will get 3-4 training sessions per day as well as plenty of personal walks, socialization in all environments to fully maximize your dogs experience here at K9 Driven. ​

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Your dog must be at least 4 months of age and show proof on completion of vaccines.

In this program we will implement basic manners as well as create a solid foundation for you to continue at the end of their stay with us. The goal is to implement the necessary fundamentals for basic obedience with a foundation that you can continue and build on your own at home.

This 3-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. While this package is great for new beginner dogs, or puppies, it is tailored to fit any age or breed of dog.

At the end of the 3 week package you and your dog will be equipped to establish a better relationship and connection built through basic fundamental obedience. You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!

4 Week Advanced Board & Train

This program includes all of the basic obedience and fundamentals from the 3- week obedience program with the added steps towards advanced training. This program is ideal for a client that seeks a higher standard of training that builds a confident dog both on and off leash. This program includes an e-collar, which is a tool to solidify your basic on leash skills while guiding your training towards off leash obedience by creating a reliable dog off leash.

At the end of this 4-week camp you and your dog will have the tools needed for controlled on leash obedience, with an advancement towards off leash control. This helps bring confidence in knowing that you can maintain your dog’s obedience even without a leash.
6 Week ULTIMATE BOARD AND TRAINING

( 5 months & Older)
This premium package is designed to create the ultimate companion who is trained to take on various social and physical circumstances. This curriculum includes all of the benefits of the previous packages, with an added proofing-period allowing your dog to solidify their off leash obedience in highly distracting environments. This level of training is designed for owners seeking an elite dog trained to adjust to a multitude of situations. Ultimately, this training helps to create a stable and obedient dog both on and off leash no matter where you go.​

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS​

Puppy Package: Dogs must be at least 3 months of age for on-leash training

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Drop-off, pick-up, and follow-up training will be scheduled in Chicago. If you require a mobile pick-up additional cost for service outside of local radius. Drop-off dates, locations, and times can vary.
Policies & payment
REQUIRED PAPERWORK: Electronic copies of training package agreements or board & train agreement and policies emailed to you through or service site Busy Paws. Your training package or board & train payment, documents must be signed, dated, and returned to us within three days of purchase and prior to scheduling your training. You must provide your dog's health documentation prior to training.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOWS: If you’re unable to keep your scheduled private session or follow-up appointment for any reason, we require a full 48-hour notice by email or text message. If you are a no-show or fail to cancel in with 48 hours notice, your session will be forfeited.
​
We do not promise, timelines, or guarantees for training results. Every dog is different and all behavior modification takes time, consistency and patience to resolve.
